Pneumatics – Piston Seal

The KPDP seal has been specifically developed for the pneumatic sector and consists of a polyurethane ring on the dynamic side and an O-Ring on the static side. It is mainly used on double-acting cylinder pistons, and thanks to its special design, it offers the following advantages:

• perfect sealing
• high operational durability due to the excellent wear-resistant properties of the material used on the dynamic side
• limited risk of extrusion even in the presence of large fitting clearances
• simple and cost-effective housing solutions with minimal space requirements
• easy installation

Material

• Dynamic side: thermoplastic polyurethane resin specifically developed for the production of pneumatic seals or for any other application where sealing requires abrasion resistance, flexibility, and low permanent deformation with temperature changes
• Static side: nitrile rubber (NBR) elastomer with a hardness of approximately 70 Shore A
