The PLP pumps are variable-displacement vane pumps designed for low operating pressure, equipped with a mechanical pressure control device that allows the delivered flow to be instantly adjusted according to the circuit’s requirements.
Variable-displacement vane pumps are volumetric pumps; therefore, they deliver a maximum flow rate equal to their displacement multiplied by the rotational speed. The operating pressure is determined by the pressure losses that the fluid encounters along its path within the system.
When the delivery pressure (in the system) equals the pump’s set pressure, the delivered flow automatically adjusts to the values required by the system; once this value is reached, the pump reduces its flow down to zero while maintaining the pressure nearly constant. In conditions where no flow is required, the pump delivers only the oil needed to compensate for possible leakages and pilot controls.
The Berarma PLP pumps are variable-displacement vane pumps for low pressure, equipped with a mechanical pressure regulator. The delivered flow rate is proportional to the set displacement and rotational speed. When the pressure reaches the set value, the displacement automatically reduces until it compensates only for internal leakages, maintaining constant pressure.

Available in sizes 05, 1, 2, and 3, with displacements from 16 to 120 cm³/rev and flow rates up to 174 l/min at 1450 rpm.
Maximum pressure: 120 bar for size 05, 100 bar for sizes 1 and 2, 90 bar for size 3.
Flanges and shafts comply with ISO standards, connections GAS BSP and SAE 3000.
Optional version with through-shaft (“A”) available for multiple pump assemblies.

Sizes 1 and 2: H = 30÷100 bar / L = 15÷50 bar
Size 3: H = 50÷90 bar / L = 30÷50 bar
Flow regulator: mechanical reduction of displacement down to the minimum value shown in the table.
Fluid: HM, HLP, HEES, HFD, HFC (with suitable seals).
Viscosity: 22÷68 cSt in operation.
Fluid temperature: +15/+60 °C.
Maximum contamination: 20/18/15 ISO 4406 (recommended 18/16/13).
Rotational speed: 800÷1800 rpm.
Direction of rotation: right-hand (shaft side).
