The STAUFF Cover Plate for Single Clamps (Type DPAL – Heavy Series) ensures optimum fastening for hydraulic pipework. Compliant with DIN 3015 Part 2, it is manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium. It supports STAUFF Groups 3S to 12S, ensuring maximum strength for heavy-duty applications. It covers configurations for single clamps (DPAL) and double clamps (DPAS). The available product codes (base families) are: DPAL-3S, DPAL-4S, DPAL-5S, DPAL-6S, DPAL-7S, DPAL-8S, DPAL-9S, DPAL-10S, DPAL-11S, DPAL-12S.
STAUFF Cover Plate for Single Clamps (Type DPAL – Heavy Series)
The STAUFF Cover Plate for Single Clamps (Type DPAL – Heavy Series) is developed strictly in accordance with the specifications of DIN 3015, Part 2. This Heavy Series is designed for hydraulic applications subject to high mechanical loads. Installation of the upper cover plate ensures optimum mechanical retention of the clamp, distributing the clamping load evenly across the structure and preventing the pipe from loosening.

The range covers a wide variety of diameters, classified within STAUFF Groups 3S to 12S, corresponding to DIN sizes 1 to 10. Dimensions vary according to the group: the overall length (L1) ranges from 55 mm for Group 3S up to 630 mm for Group 12S. The hole centre distance (L2) extends from 33 mm to 534 mm, ensuring modularity. Plate thickness (S) increases proportionally with size, starting from 8 mm (Groups 3S-5S) up to 30 mm for the largest models (11S-12S), with through-holes (ØD) ranging from 11 mm to 35 mm.
In addition to the standard STAUFF Cover Plate for Single Clamps (Type DPAL – Heavy Series), the documentation includes the Type DPAS variant, specifically designed for double clamps. While Type DPAL maintains a fixed width (B) to accommodate a single clamp block, Type DPAS (Double Clamps) uses an enlarged geometry. Dimensions B1 (overall width) and B2 (transverse centre distance) of the DPAS model allow simultaneous fastening of two parallel lines. For example, in Group 6S, Type DPAL has a width (B) of 45 mm, while Type DPAS has a width B1 of 90 mm and a centre distance B2 of 46 mm.
