STAUFF Metal Clamps DIN 3567-A – 2-Bolt Design are engineered components for fastening pipes with tension clearance, compliant with DIN 3567 Type A. The construction design is based on a two-bolt structure that ensures mechanical stability within the system. In the basic standard configuration, a single metal clamp consists exclusively of two identical clamp halves. In this standard supply configuration, the hexagon head bolts and corresponding nuts are not included and must be provided separately.

Available Materials and Finishes

To meet the requirements of different industrial and hydraulic applications, the STAUFF Metal Clamps DIN 3567-A – 2-Bolt Design series is manufactured in three main material variants. Material code W1 identifies clamps made from uncoated carbon steel. Code W40 specifies hot-dip galvanised carbon steel, ideal for resistance to environmental corrosion. For more aggressive environments, code W5 is available, indicating the use of V4A stainless steel, specifically grades 1.4401 and 1.4571 (corresponding to AISI 316 and 316 Ti standards). Alternative materials and surface finishes are available from the manufacturer upon request.

Complete Assembly Configuration (COMPL)

Where a ready-to-install kit is required, the complete assembly can be ordered using the suffix COMPL in the order code (e.g. DIN3567-A-20 W1*COMPL). A complete assembly includes two clamp halves, two hexagon head bolts and two hexagon nuts. It is important to note that all items, including complete assemblies, are supplied unassembled.

Sizing and Fastening Component Specifications

The dimensional range of STAUFF Metal Clamps DIN 3567-A – 2-Bolt Design is extremely broad and covers pipe outside diameters (Pipe OD) from 20 mm (0.79 inches) up to 521 mm (20.51 inches). The dimensions of the hexagon head bolts vary according to the STAUFF Nominal Size Group:

• For diameters from 20 mm to 49 mm, the design requires M10 x 30 bolts or the equivalent 3/8-16 UNC x 1-1/4.
• For diameters from 57 mm to 89 mm, M12 x 35 bolts or 7/16-14 UNC x 1-3/8 are used.
• For the range from 108 mm to 169 mm, the assembly requires M16 x 45 bolts or 5/8-11 UNC x 1-3/4.
• For diameters from 194 mm to 220 mm, M20 x 50 bolts or 3/4-10 UNC x 2 are used.
• Finally, for large pipes from 267 mm to 521 mm, M24 x 60 bolts or 7/8-9 UNC x 2-3/8 are required.
