STAUFF Pipe Bushing SRF
The STAUFF Pipe Bushing SRF is designed for centring metric and imperial pipes in through-holes, making it ideal for return lines entering hydraulic reservoirs. It provides excellent absorption of vibrations and structure-borne noise. Featuring rapid plug-in installation, it is available in Polypropylene (PP) or Thermoplastic Elastomer (SA). The available product codes follow the base family according to diameter, for example: SRF-06, SRF-08, SRF-10 up to SRF-42, available in PP or SA variants.

The SRF Series is compatible with commonly used pipe diameters, supporting both metric and imperial sizes. Specifically, metric outside diameters (ØD1) range from 6 mm up to 42 mm, while imperial sizes cover a range from 1/4″ up to 1-1/2″. The component can accommodate specific pipe variants, including copper tubes compliant with ASTM B88 (e.g. 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″) and standard pipes (e.g. 1/8 Pipe, 1/4 Pipe, 1-1/4 Pipe).
From a dimensional perspective, all bushings maintain a constant overall height (H1) of 22 mm and flange height (H2) of 4 mm. The supported mounting wall thickness ranges from 4 mm to 12 mm, providing considerable installation flexibility across different reservoir wall thicknesses. The required mounting hole diameter (ØD3) varies proportionally from 10 mm to 47 mm depending on the pipe size. Finally, the flange outside diameter (ØD2) ranges from 18 mm up to 55 mm.
To meet different operating requirements, the STAUFF Pipe Bushing SRF is available in two high-quality standard materials. The first is Polypropylene, characterised by its natural colour and identified in the order code by the abbreviation PP. The second material is a Thermoplastic Elastomer with a hardness of 87 Shore-A; this material is supplied in black and identified by the abbreviation SA.
The order code structure is designed to ensure maximum accuracy when selecting the component. The code always begins with SRF, identifying the Pipe / Tube Bushing family. This is followed by the exact outside diameter (ØD1) expressed in millimetres, which can take sixteen different standardised values. The final part of the code specifies the material, allowing the PP or SA variant to be selected. This rigorous coding system ensures that engineers and purchasing managers can uniquely identify the most suitable centring and vibration-absorbing component for the specific return lines of their hydraulic systems, ensuring reliability and optimum performance.
