The STAUFF Smooth Clamp Body (Type H – Twin Series), compliant with DIN 3015, Part 3, is designed for the secure installation of hoses and cables. Consisting of two clamp halves with a smooth inner surface and no tension clearance, it provides a high level of protection thanks to a design that reduces vibrations and noise. It ensures excellent weathering resistance even under extreme conditions. Available in polypropylene (PP-H) and polyamide (PA-H).
The available product codes, shown as base product families to be completed with the final material code such as PP-H, PP-H-BK or PA-H, are: 106/06, 106.4/06.4, 108/08, 109.5/09.5, 110/10, 112/12, 212.7/12.7, 213.5/13.5, 214/14, 215/15, 216/16, 217.2/17.2, 218/18, 319/19, 320/20, 321.3/21.3, 322/22, 325/25, 325.4/25.4, 426.9/26.9, 428/28, 430/30, 532/32, 533.7/33.7, 535/35, 538/38, 540/40, 542/42.
The STAUFF Smooth Clamp Body (Type H – Twin Series) is the reference technical solution for secure and reliable installation in hydraulic and industrial applications. Designed in accordance with DIN 3015, Part 3, this clamp is specifically intended for the Twin Series. Unlike the profiled version designed for rigid pipes, the smooth inner surface of Type H is specially developed without tension clearance. This engineering feature makes it the recommended choice for fastening hoses and cables, preventing abnormal wear caused by friction and ensuring uniform clamping around the entire circumference.
Each unit consists of two clamp halves forming a single clamp body. The design provides superior environmental protection through its inherent damping properties, significantly reducing the transmission of vibrations and operating noise within the system. The component also ensures excellent ageing and weathering resistance, maintaining its mechanical performance even when exposed to extreme environmental conditions. The twin-clamp system allows two fluid lines or cables to be secured simultaneously and in parallel, minimising the supporting surface required on the load-bearing structure and reducing assembly times on site. The dimensional architecture features precise tolerances and dimensions: the range is divided into five main groups, from 1D to 5D, covering nominal outside diameters from 6 mm to 42 mm. Group 1D has an L1 dimension of 36 mm, while the range increases progressively up to Group 5D, with an L1 length of 106 mm and a constant width of 30 mm across the entire range, optimising space requirements during system layout design.
To meet different application, thermal and chemical requirements, the clamp is available in several polymer compounds identified by specific material codes. Polypropylene (PP-H) provides an excellent balance of rigidity and chemical resistance for standard applications and is available in the typical green colour (PP-H) or in black (PP-H-BK). Polyamide (PA-H), available in black, provides superior mechanical performance, greater wear resistance and suitability for more demanding environmental conditions.
In addition to the standard polypropylene and polyamide versions, variants manufactured from special flame-retardant materials are available. These advanced materials are tested and approved in accordance with the strictest international fire-protection standards, including BS 6853, EN 45545-2 and UL 94, ensuring maximum safety in rail, offshore or fire-risk installations. Additional outside diameters and combinations of different diameters can be manufactured upon specific technical request.
