The STAUFF Twin Clamp Body for Agriculture AG is a structural component designed to ensure secure pipe fastening within hydraulic systems. The system uses two profiled clamp halves that enclose the pipe and distribute the clamping force evenly, reducing mechanical stress caused by pressure and vibration. The Agriculture Series (Type AG) is characterised by a reversible design: the installer can turn the clamp body over according to the pipe diameter, thereby using two different internal profiles within the same component. The Radius Grooves profile and the V-Grooves profile allow a wide variety of pipe sizes to be accommodated. Fastening to the machine is carried out directly using dedicated hardware, such as M10 or 3/8-16 UNC bolts.
The clamp bodies are moulded entirely from polypropylene (PP), ensuring dimensional stability and resistance to the demanding operating conditions typical of hydraulic applications. In the Compact Twin family (Type DS), the polypropylene is supported by metal fastening components (Hardware) manufactured from carbon steel. More specifically, the Weld Plate (Type SP-DS) is surface-treated by phosphating, while the upper Cover Plate (Type US-DS) and Hexagon Head Bolt (Type AS) feature a zinc/nickel-plated finish designed to increase resistance to environmental corrosion. The fastening hardware uses UNC (Unified Coarse) threads. For the Agriculture Series, the polypropylene is supplied in the standard black colour.
