AMI Tank Line Options

The AMI Tank Line Options are a range of essential accessories designed for integration into hydraulic directional control valves. The technical documentation specifies two main variants for the tank line: the fitting for pressure line continuation, identified as H10 (Carry-Over), and the plug for conversion to a closed-centre configuration, identified as H10C. These components allow valve blocks to be adapted to the specific requirements of the hydraulic circuit, ensuring proper management of flow and return pressures according to the AMI series model used in the system.
The H10 option consists of a plugged port designed for the installation of the Carry-Over fitting. This technical solution is available on request for the AMI4 and AMI250 directional control valve series. It is instead supplied as standard for the AMI21R, AMI300, AMI130, AMI700, AMI013, AMI5C, AMI42C and AMI12C series when the side tank port is used in combination with the H10 element. The implementation of this fitting involves specific dimensions and threads (Dimension A and Dimension B), which vary strictly according to the product family.
More specifically, the BSP thread (Dimension A) and housing depth (Dimension B) are distributed as follows: for AMI 3, AMI 4, AMI 21R, AMI 250 and AMI 42C models, Dimension A is 1/2″ BSP with Dimension B of 24 mm. The AMI 5C model also uses a 1/2″ BSP Dimension A. For larger sizes, AMI 130 and AMI 700 models feature a 1″ BSP Dimension A with Dimension B of 35 mm. The AMI 013 model requires a 3/4″ BSP thread for Dimension A and Dimension B of 27 mm, while the AMI 12C model uses exclusively a 1″ BSP Dimension A. The AMI 012 model is also included among the series supported by the H10 configuration.
The H10C option identifies the closed-centre plug, an essential accessory for modifying the fluid tank-line configuration within the valve block. Installation of this component refers to a specific coupling dimension (Dimension C). Across the product families, Dimension C is 10 mm for AMI 4, AMI 21R, AMI 250, AMI 300 and AMI 42C models. For higher-flow variants, namely AMI 130, AMI 700 and AMI 013, Dimension C is set at 12 mm. The H10C system is also compatible with AMI 3, AMI 012, AMI 5C and AMI 12C models according to the manufacturer’s construction specifications.
