Complete Aegi Heavy Series Clamps
Designed for fastening pipes in hydraulic systems, Complete Aegi Heavy Series Clamps ensure maximum holding strength. Available in polypropylene, self-extinguishing polyamide, aluminium and rubber, they support diameters from 6 to 219.1 mm (DIN Groups 1-8). They are available with smooth or profiled inner surfaces and include plates and hexagon head bolts.
The available product codes refer to the following families: AMP.P, MMP.P, RMP.P, AMLL.P (for the clamp bodies) and the APSP, APINP, AVTEP and APMRSP fastening components, covering every combination.
Complete Aegi Heavy Series Clamps are designed for anchoring pipes and absorbing vibrations in high-pressure hydraulic systems. The complete modular system consists of a lower plate (APINP), four stacked clamp halves (identified in the assembly as 4x AMP.P…S), a safety upper plate (APMRSP), a standard upper plate (APSP) and two variants of hexagon head bolts for fastening (AVTEP and AVTEAP). This construction architecture ensures maximum axial and radial stability of the pipe, preventing misalignment caused by fluid pressure peaks.
The clamp bodies are available in four different materials, identified by specific prefixes in the product code, to suit different operating temperature and chemical conditions:
The Heavy Series covers DIN size Groups 1 to 8. It is suitable for fastening pipes with outside diameters (O.D.) ranging from a minimum of 6 mm (1/4″) to a maximum of 219.1 mm (8″). The clamp halves are available with two internal geometries: the standard type with a profiled inner surface, which increases grip on rigid pipes, and Type H with a smooth inner surface, particularly suitable for fastening hoses without damaging the outer cover.
Structural fastening is provided by metal upper plates (APSP) and lower plates (APINP), available in widths ranging from 30 mm to 120 mm according to the DIN group. Tightening is ensured by metric hexagon head bolts (AVTEP and AVTEAP), with thread sizes ranging from M10 for Group 1 up to M30 for Group 8. For installation on mounting rails, the range includes 5 mm-thick mounting rails (ABINP) used in combination with dedicated mounting rail nuts (ADESP) in M10 and M12 sizes.
