The Miselli Electric Level Indicator Series XL/127/PLAST represents an advanced technical solution for constant fluid monitoring inside hydraulic tanks. This component combines direct visual inspection, ensured by a transparent central body, with the transmission of precise electrical alarm signals, which activate when critical fluid level or temperature thresholds are reached. Designed with a standard fixing center distance of 127 mm, it is easily installed through two threaded holes, requiring a maximum tightening torque of 5 Nm.
The indicator is built to ensure durability and reliability. The internal body is molded in transparent polyamide and ultrasonically welded to guarantee flawless watertight sealing. Protecting the core is an external cover made of PA66 loaded with 30% glass fiber (G.F.), structured to maintain perfect visibility of the fluid from both the front and the side. Hydraulic sealing is entrusted to NBR 70 Shore gaskets, with the option to request FKM gaskets (VITON type) for heavy-duty applications. Fixing is carried out using drilled screws and M12 nuts in white galvanized steel, replaceable on request with stainless steel components. The indicator operates safely with a maximum pressure of 1 bar and tolerates a recommended maximum temperature of 80°C.
To meet different system requirements, the series is available in three main configurations.
This variant integrates a REED-type minimum level sensor, positioned on the external cover and freely adjustable in height according to control specifications. Inside the sight glass, a technopolymer float equipped with a magnetic element moves: once the sensor level is reached, the element closes the electrical contact. Supplied as standard with a normally open (NO) contact, the sensor is equipped with a 30 cm cable and M8 male connector. The option with M10 drilled screw is also available (Model SLV/76-SL).
This model houses a bimetallic maximum temperature sensor directly inside the lower M12 fixing screw, ensuring IP65 protection rating. The sensor can be factory calibrated to 60°C or 70°C. It is supplied with an adjustable DIN connector and offers the choice between normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) contact.
This complete version combines the functions of both previous variants, enabling simultaneous monitoring of the minimum level (via magnetic float and REED sensor) and maximum temperature (via bimetallic thermostat in the fixing screw) within a single component.
The XL/127/PLAST indicator offers broad compatibility with the main hydraulic fluids: synthetic oils, mineral oils, diesel fuel, and some types of gasoline. Prolonged contact with alcohol, alcohol-based cleaning liquids, and coolants operating at high temperatures must be strictly avoided. For specific applications involving alcohol or special coolants, a special version identified by the -CX model is available on request.
