Description
Construction Features and Materials
Oleo Tecnica 90° CETOP Flanges are designed to ensure maximum reliability in hydraulic connection systems. These components are manufactured in two different material variants in order to suit multiple environmental conditions and industrial requirements. The standard configuration uses S355 steel, a strong and durable material identified in the ordering codes by the designation CET…ST90…. For applications requiring superior corrosion resistance, an AISI316L stainless steel version is available, distinguished by the inclusion of the letter “X” in the ordering code nomenclature (CETX…ST90…).
Pressure Specifications and Operating Range
The product portfolio is divided into two main series, rigorously classified according to the maximum recommended working pressure: Series 250, which supports loads up to 250 Bar, and Series 400, designed to operate safely up to 400 Bar. It is essential to specify that the stated maximum recommended pressure refers exclusively to the sealing capacity and structural strength of the flange. The actual maximum working pressure of the entire hydraulic system is jointly determined by the wall thickness and steel quality of the pipe used for the hydraulic connection. The connection profile of these flanges features a technical 37° angle, designed to optimize flow and sealing performance.
Dimensions, Sizes and Structural Variations
Oleo Tecnica 90° CETOP Flanges cover a broad dimensional range, ensuring full scalability for system design. Available nominal sizes start from a minimum of 3/8″, continuing through 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1″1/4, 1″1/2, 2″, 2″1/2 and 3″, up to the maximum size of 4″. Dimensional analysis highlights an engineering design carefully optimized according to operating pressure loads. For the same nominal size, Series 400 models feature the dimensional variations required to increase component thickness and mass and withstand very high pressures. Consequently, product weight ranges from a minimum of 0.24 kg for compact 3/8″ versions up to 18.50 kg for the 4″ Series 250 flange and 19.90 kg for the corresponding heavy-duty 4″ Series 400 model.
Fastening Components and Sealing System (O-Ring)
Correct and safe installation requires the use of specific metric-thread fastening screws. Fastener dimensions increase directly in proportion to component size: from M6x30 screws for the smallest 3/8″ models up to large M24x160 screws for industrial 4″ sizes. To ensure perfect hydraulic isolation and complete absence of leakage, each size is matched with a specific O-Ring seal type. The seals cover the full construction range: models start from code 3068 and progress through the series up to references 4387 and 6350. This precise matching between physical dimensions, metric tie bolts and sealing elements ensures maximum dynamic performance and consistent efficiency throughout the hydraulic system, minimizing pressure losses.
