The range is strictly divided into two main variants to meet different operating requirements: Series 3000 and Series 6000.
Series 3000 handles maximum recommended working pressures that vary according to component size. Specifically, for 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ sizes, the maximum pressure reaches 345 Kg/cm². For the 1″1/4 size, the working limit decreases to 276 Kg/cm², while for the 1″1/2 size it is 207 Kg/cm².
Series 6000, designed for more demanding applications, guarantees a constant maximum working pressure of 414 Kg/cm² across all available sizes (from 1/2″ to 1″1/2, including the 1″1/4 L13 variant).
Construction and Dimensional Features
The flange design features a 90-degree configuration with high-precision metric threading. Metric thread sizes range from a minimum of M22x1,5 (for the 1/2″ size of Series 3000) up to a maximum of M52x2, used both for the larger sizes of Series 3000 and for multiple Series 6000 configurations.
The weight of individual components ranges from a minimum of 0.25 Kg for the smallest model (AFS08090E) up to a maximum of 2.75 Kg for the 1″1/2 Series 6000 flange (AFS40590E), reflecting the substantial thickness and robust construction of models intended for very high-pressure applications.
Materials, Fastening Systems and Sealing
To ensure maximum structural reliability in different industrial environments, Oleo Tecnica 90° Metric Threaded Flanges with DIN 3901-3902 Connection are manufactured in two material variants: S355 carbon steel and AISI 316L stainless steel.
The sealing system is ensured by the use of specific compatible O-rings. Depending on flange size, the O-ring types used are coded as 4075, 4100, 4131, 4150 and 4187.
For fastening, users can choose sets including metric screws (from M8 to M16) or UNC screws (from 5/16″ to 5/8″). An important technical constraint to consider during the design stage is that UNC screw sets are made available by the manufacturer exclusively for flanges manufactured in S355 carbon steel. All complete fastening configurations always include spring washers.

The component coding system facilitates exact identification of the configurations. The root codes distinguish the material (AFS for S355; AFX for AISI 316L), while the suffixes define the scope of supply:
