The technical range of STAUFF Metal Clamps DIN 3567-B – 3-Bolt Design has been carefully developed for the professional installation of pipes, rigid conduits and various other structural components. Their specific design, asymmetrically extended on one side (Three-Bolt Design, Extended to One Side), enables extremely secure and stable anchoring to load-bearing structures such as beams, metal profiles and industrial brackets. The three-bolt construction provides significantly improved load distribution compared with conventional fastening solutions, making these clamps an essential component for structural, plant and hydraulic systems in which mechanical strength and absolute installation safety are critical design parameters.

Construction Features and Technical Sizing

All clamps in this range are manufactured in full compliance with DIN 3567, Type B, and feature precisely defined tension clearance. To meet each individual system specification accurately, the available dimensional range is particularly extensive. Nominal groups start from the smallest pipe diameter of 20 mm and extend up to large heavy-industry sizes for pipes with a diameter of 521 mm. Permitted outside diameters include, among others, intermediate sizes of 22, 25, 30, 45, 57, 89, 108, 159, 216, 267, 318 and 407 mm. The hexagon head bolts are sized proportionally to the clamp diameter, starting from M10x30 for compact sizes and increasing up to the substantial M24x60 size for pipe diameters exceeding 400 mm. Unified threads for the American standard are also included, ranging consistently from 3/8-16 UNC up to 7/8-9 UNC.

Material Specifications and Compliance

To ensure maximum performance in terms of resistance to mechanical stress, wear and, above all, corrosion in demanding industrial environments, STAUFF Metal Clamps DIN 3567-B – 3-Bolt Design are manufactured and supplied in three main material variants (Material Code):

• Code W1: Carbon steel, uncoated.
• Code W40: Carbon steel, hot-dip galvanised to resist atmospheric oxidation.
• Code W5: High-quality V4A stainless steel, corresponding to grades 1.4401 / 1.4571 (i.e. AISI 316 / 316 Ti), specifically designed for applications in highly aggressive environments.

To support non-standard engineering requirements, additional material variants and special surface finishes are available from the manufacturer exclusively upon technical request.

Supply Formats and Industrial Assembly

To ensure seamless logistical integration and maximum convenience during on-site installation, the product is available in two specific supply configurations. The first is the basic clamp, consisting exclusively of the two metal halves (the two shaped clamp halves), without fastening hardware. The second is the complete assembly set, easily identified by the COMPL suffix in the order code. This kit option includes the two metal halves, three appropriately sized hexagon head bolts and the corresponding three hexagon nuts. Regardless of the configuration selected at the time of ordering, all items are supplied unassembled to further simplify direct installation operations on site.
