The Miselli TTE Series Hex Head Plug is a metal component specifically developed for application on hydraulic components. Manufactured entirely from AVP leaded steel (11SMnPb37) , it ensures high mechanical performance in hydraulic circuits. It covers a wide dimensional range: Gas thread versions from G1/8″ to G1 1/2″ , and metric versions from M10x1 to M26x1.5. It offers the possibility to integrate a sealing gasket supplied separately, ensuring maximum installation versatility and sealing performance for any technical requirement.
The Miselli TTE Series Hex Head Plug is a precision metal accessory designed to operate on hydraulic components. The entire range is manufactured using AVP leaded steel, identified by the technical grade 11SMnPb37. This specific alloy ensures excellent machinability and mechanical strength, making the plug suitable for withstanding the tightening loads typical of industrial hydraulic systems and circuits. This component ensures proper sealing for controlling fluid contamination within the hydraulic system. To optimize hydraulic sealing performance, the system allows the plug to be equipped with a sealing gasket, supplied separately according to specific design requirements.
The product range includes several models with Gas (G) threads, identified by the connection size (ØF) and hex key dimension (CH). Standard sizes start from model TTE-18 with G1/8″ thread, thread length (I1) of 8 mm, total length (L) of 13 mm, and hex size 14 mm. Next, the series includes TTE-14 (G1/4″, I1 11 mm, L 17 mm, CH 19 mm) and TTE-38 (G3/8″, I1 12 mm, L 19 mm, CH 22 mm). For medium-sized connections, models TTE-12 (G1/2″, L 22 mm, CH 27 mm) and TTE-34 (G3/4″, L 25 mm, CH 32 mm) are available. The largest standard model is TTE-1 (G1″) with a total length of 29 mm and 41 mm hex size. For high-flow hydraulic connections, versions TTE-114 (G1 1/4″, CH 50 mm) and TTE-112 (G1 1/2″, CH 55 mm) are available upon request only.
In addition to the Gas range, hex head plugs are widely available with metric threads (M). The entry version is TTE-10.1 with M10x1 thread (I1 8 mm, L 12 mm, CH 14 mm). Larger versions use M..x1.5 pitch, starting with TTE-12.15 (M 12×1.5, I1 10 mm, CH 17 mm), followed by TTE-14.15 (M 14×1.5, I1 11 mm, CH 19 mm) and TTE-16.15 (M 16×1.5, I1 12 mm, CH 22 mm). Increasing in size, there are TTE-18.15 (M 18×1.5), TTE-20.15 (M 20×1.5, L 22 mm, CH 27 mm) and TTE-22.15 (M 22×1.5, L 23 mm, CH 27 mm). Following the same logic as large Gas fittings, metric models TTE-24.15 (M 24×1.5, L 25 mm, CH 30 mm) and TTE-26.15 (M 26×1.5, L 25 mm, CH 32 mm) are supplied only upon specific request. All metal plugs and breathers mentioned comply with construction guidelines updated as of 01/2021.
