Description
Gasketed plate exchangers
Gasketed plate heat exchangers optimize heat transfer by large corrugated plate surfaces that draw heat from one gas or liquid to another.
High efficiency and outstanding reliability in a compact design offer an investment with the most attractive CTO for product life.
Not to forget the energy-saving capabilities and reduced environmental impact.
- Compact units: space saving, easy maintenance
- Maximum uptime – less dirt, stress, wear and corrosion
- Flexible: easy to adapt to your operating requirements
Plate and gasket technology
The corrugated plate design optimizes heat transfer by providing a large but compact total surface area through which heat can be drawn from one liquid or gas to another.
The heat transfer area of the plates is pressed into a corrugated herringbone pattern. When two plates are overlaid with opposing herringbone patterns, the helix-like flow and high turbulence result in high transfer coefficients and effective self-cleaning.
A modification of the corrugation pattern allows the heat exchanger to be used in various processes, even those with very dirty media.
